Arguably Africa’s most popular pop duo, P-Square has added another feather to its cap with the release of its latest album, Double Trouble. Considering the publicity and the reviews which have greeted the release, it suffices to say that the release may be their best work so far.
Evidently, you can tell that they put a lot of effort into the album from the first track. The duo had previously revealed in an interview withSpinlets that they “always pray and fast days before the release” of any of their album.
Their talked about single with Marvin Music CEO Don Jazzy, titledCollabo, is a huge plus for the album. Its high-life feel, laced with Don Jazzy’s voice and a host of traditional instruments lending their harmony in the background, is a delight to listen to.
The 18-track album (16 songs and two bonus tracks) – with songs like They are Missing You, Shekini, Eje Ajo ft. TI, Bring It On Ft Dave Scott, Personally, Zombie, Ije Love, Sari Sari, Oga digide, Ifeoma, MMS, Enemy Solo ft. Awilo, Collabo ft. Don Jazzy, Alingo, Testimony and No be Joke – is proof of the duo’s already cemented reputation as talented singers.
